Description | Weak constellation of the southern hemisphere, situated between Hydra and Vela. Remarkable objects are zeta Antliae (near the border with the Pyxis), a double star easily separable also with binoculars, and NGC 3132 (on the border with Vela), a big planetary nebula similar to the more famous Ring Nebula of Lyra. |
